If you ask an anorak a really stupid and insignificant question such as "What is the fake name of Malcolm Smith", you might get the correct answer that it is Peter Moore. But if ask them who financed the original 'Radio Caroline' back in 1964, and they will probably tell you that it was "Jimmy Ross", and if you ask them who 'Radio Caroline" was named after, many anoraks will still tell you that it was Caroline Kennedy.
Even the origins and the people behind 'Swinging Radio England' still bring up the idiotic answers once sold under the name of 'Tapetrix' by Steve England, and which were recently reinforced with more of the old nonsense by Ron O'Quinn talking to a starry-eyed person on 'Radio Corby'. Ron was happy to feed the anorak myths in England via a connection to him in Ecuador, which many anoraks will be at a loss to point out on a world map. But if anyone dares to point out just how stupid and ignorant these free radio anoraks are, they turn on that person like a pack of rabid dogs. One good point is that these sick animals are now naturally dying off, but we can't let the rubbish they are leaving behind go unanswered by being pitching their works into the recycling bin. One or two copies should be preserved as museum pieces to illustrate how sick and how stupid this dying breed are, but for the sake of their own offspring, if their parents won't tell them the truth, we will, and we are.
