By 1965 the letterhead for 'Radio Caroline' was attempting to conceal an obvious lie as a result of an investigation by the UK Board of Trade: 'Radio Caroline' did not exist!
Note that 6 Chesterfield Gardens only claimed to be the home of a 'Caroline Sales Office'. But what did that mean? At the bottom of the letterhead it says that the two companies listed are "the sole selling agents for Radio Caroline". It does not say that they are 'Radio Caroline'. The Telex address belonged to Project Atlanta Limited and it was in use by PAL Ltd. while 'Radio Atlanta' was still on the air. The directors of PAL Ltd represented a lot of money, and yet, the myth has been created that PAL Ltd went bust and that Planet Productions Ltd of Ireland, bought them out. Project Atlanta Ltd did not run out of money. However, the listed directors for Planet Productions Ltd are not a true representation of the ownership listed on the Irish company papers, and because few have seen them, the fact that a close associate of Allan Crawford was listed with Phillip Solomon on those company papers, has not caused others to stop and wonder what was going on. That is why we bought and paid for copies of all of the official documents! What was going on behind the scenes was not reflected in the visible relationships of people who were parading in and out of 6 Chesterfield Gardens. Ronan O'Rahilly was simply an immature stooge whose job it was to misdirect the press so that they would not ask too many awkward questions about the subject of money. Then there is the matter of Phillip Solomon and how he came into the picture, and why on June 7, 1966 he registered a British company in London called Radio Caroline Commercial Broadcasting Company Ltd, but its address was not at 6 Chesterfield Gardens. There are many hitherto unanswered questions, including the process by which a lot of people moved into 6 Chesterfield Gardens, and yet no one appears to have been in charge as the primary tenant and therefore responsible to a landlord. But so far the world of so-called journalists and historians have bought into a pack of lies that were originally set in motion by Ronan O'Rahilly, and then expanded into an avalanche of fictitious material by the hands and imagination of Ian Cowper Ross.
