It took decades to fathom out how and why Ronan O'Rahilly pulled off his big lie, but now we know.
O'Rahilly was a young man who had arrived in London from Ireland in 1961. He had hardly any money, but he managed to pull-off a huge media lie that he had created 'Radio Caroline'. But now we know the true story that what he claimed was untrue, and we will soon be revealing his motives to the world. In a short period of time after arrival in England, O'Rahilly linked up with the seamy-side of London's gangsters. They swirled around a number of low-life clubs in which Peter Rachman and the Kray Twins had financial interests. O'Rahilly went to work for Peter Rachman as a 'useful fool'. Over time he attracted hangers-on, and came to the attention of a genuine business venture seeking cover from the press by using O'Rahilly to misdirect by obfuscation. Until 1990 little had been written about the 1964-1967 days of 'Radio Caroline', and then, because of the passage of a new law with roots in the Nineteen Century, the mythology of 'Radio Caroline' was ramped-up into high gear, with Ronan O'Rahilly playing the part of a liar, a fraud and would-be confidence trickster. The problem with O'Rahilly is that he was an amateur out of his depth. We will soon begin to reveal the true story of 'Radio Caroline' (1964-1967) which has never been told so far. We will also dispose of the myths spread by and about Ronan O'Rahilly who has done so much harm to so many people. Even in death others are continuing to spread O'Rahilly lies and the time has now come to put a stop to as many as we possibly can. Comments are closed.
