Malcolm Smith defends his 'Radio Caroline' lie ....

Unfortunately, at the moment, Malcolm Smith won't admit that he lied on British government documents or that he is lying now about our investigation into the origins of 'Radio Caroline'. In fact, he is digging a deeper literary grave for himself by adding more and more misrepresentation to his own defense.

Malcolm Smith now claims as a follow-up to his previous lies that: ".... I need to step back and not engage in a keyboard war ..... This unsettles me. I like a bit of sarcasm but don't really do hatred. "

Neither do we, but we don't do lies, either!

In this instance, Malcolm Smith was responding to a reply to his earlier comment about Ronan O'Rahilly being a totally anti-social fraud, cheat and liar.

This other comment that Smith was replying to suggested that Ronan O'Rahilly, who had to lie to get a free cup of coffee and a slice of cake (according to Malcolm Smith), had in fact paid for two ships; broadcasting equipment and the rent for a mansion in Mayfair.

In reality, while Ronan O'Rahilly may have lied to get free food and drink (we don't know that he did, we are merely reporting claims made by Malcolm Smith suggesting that he did), Malcolm Smith needs to make it clear to those writers who are responding to him, that Ronan O'Rahilly did not finance two ships; broadcasting equipment or pay the rent for a mansion in Mayfair. Neither did Ronan O'Rahilly put together a plan, or use someone else's plan to pay for that 'shopping list'.

Ronan O'Rahilly was both a con man and a "decoy duck" (as one MP called him. That MP also claimed that Ronan O'Rahilly was pushing drugs to young people.)

On the other hand it was Malcolm Smith who in fairly recent times, fraudulently signed government documents to support his own, and very new project that he calls 'Radio Caroline'. His foundational lie is in the fact that his project, and the plagiarized but twisted book by Paul Rusling that supports Malcolm Smith's project to deceive, mislead and solicit funds from the general public which claims that it, is an extension of Ronan O'Rahilly's original plan to lie to deceive and to mislead the public.

However, one thing in Ronan O'Rahilly's favor, is in the fact that unlike Malcolm Smith, Ronan O'Rahilly did not lie to deceive the general public in order to solicit funds! Ronan O'Rahllly was paid to lie and deceive by the people who were really paying the bills.

The fact that Malcolm Smith is now "unsettled" may indicate that Malcolm Smith does have a conscience and maybe he will eventually apologize to us, while terminating his own project based upon lies and deceit in order to solicit money from the general public.

Ronan O'Rahilly was just a big bag of paid wind trying to mislead the public, whereas the Malcolm Smith intends to deceive the general public in order to solicit funds from them under false pretenses.

Big difference.
