Is this date correct?

Offshore Echos magazine states that people identifying themselves with 'Radio Caroline' first moved into 6 Chesterfield Gardens on Monday, September 14, 1964. Because this is long after the so-called 'merger' of Radio Atlanta with Radio Caroline', others have disputed this date. But no one has offered any hard proof to support any other date, or even this date. We would like to hear from anyone who has information either supporting or contradicting this date.
