1959-2022 - Sleepwalking into nuclear madness ....

Today, January 19, 2022, both the UK and USA are dozing under a deluge of non-important domestic issues while the stage is being set for a potential World War III of nuclear portions, and it involves possible showdowns with Russia and China.

Behind this geopolitical nightmare are lecturers who inhabit political science classrooms. These are the people who 'advise' political leaders. On a black comedy level, that cluster of 1964 movies called 'Dr Strangelove' (January); 'Seven Days in May' (February) and 'Fail Safe'' (October) came about in the wake of the April 1961 failed invasion of Cuba at the 'Bay of Pigs', and it was followed in August of that year by the USSR building the Berlin Wall. In response to both of those events, and as reflected in the three movies mentioned, 'classroom' theorists argued for and against all out nuclear war to bring about a solution to the so-called 'East-West nuclear divide' of geopolitical domination.

Today we could be witnessing another round in this same silly 'game' which seems to begin after lengthy pauses between sessions. Right now there are two main issues before the classroom clowns who are playing this game, one involves Russia and Ukraine, and the other one involves China and Taiwan. But, if you are just following the order of news shown on television in both the UK and USA, you can easily become distracted by all kinds of domestic trivia that in the long run has no impact whatsoever on the lives of the average person.

What also becomes of interest is that the politicians who mouth the words of their speech-writers who are the spokesmen for the dominant side in the geopolitical classroom debates, is that scrutiny of past actions reveals that the politicians who appear to be saying one thing to the public, are planning on contingency plans to do the exact opposite in private discussions with their 'advisors' - the classroom clowns.

It therefore becomes very interesting to this investigation to follow the events that resulted in what we have termed the 'panic murder' of John F. Kennedy in the middle of the day, in broad daylight, and surrounded by crowds of onlookers, that took place in Dallas, Texas on Friday, November 22, 1963. To kill such an important person in such a public manner, not by chance but by design, is illogical. In 2022, to be still asking questions about that event and who perpetrated it and why, seems to be a ridiculous state of affairs, and yet it is true.

Now, in 2022 there exists a mountain of books, articles, news clippings, radio and television documentary recordings that feature two ships: the motor vessels 'Mi Amigo' and 'Olga Patricia'. Both have legacies going back to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the early years of the Nineteen Sixties when the three movies mentioned earlier were being filmed, and the precursory and murky events that resulted in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy were taking place. Perhaps we are currently in another precursory phase like that one in Nineteen Sixty-Three?

But, even though the Internet came along and it was tweaked by the creation of the World Wide Web which supposedly made the Atlantic Ocean that separates the UK and USA evaporate in its divisive importance, the peoples of both the UK and USA are still ignorant about the geopolitical motivations of the leaders of both nations, and they are even less aware of the string-pullers who motivate those leaders from their classroom environments.

So when the focus is drawn specifically to the subject of the radio stations that once operated on board the 'Mi Amigo' and 'Olga Patricia' in the years from 1964 to 1967, it results in half-baked observations based upon limited knowledge by people who want to tell others about those two ships from a now distant past. Yet, those two ships and their prior activities that began in the late Nineteen Fifties which then stretched into that time and date in November 1963 when John F. Kennedy was murdered, are central to any understanding about the reason for the creation of 'Radio Caroline' in 1964.

Unfortunately, anoraks are not only the blind leading the blind in are not only the blind in telling the world about the history of offshore broadcasting, they are also part of the 2022 great-unwashed, who are oblivious to the situation currently facing humanity that can be compared to the Cold War years of the early Nineteen Sixties. If that is not the case, then where else is anyone trying to unravel in a forensic, and court room manner, the actual events that did result in the creation of 'Radio Caroline'?
