To see and hear Ian Cowper Ross spin his totally fictitious story about "Jimmy Shaw" in his novel, and as "Daddy" one year later on BBC-TV, click this Caroline link. In a court of law the Defendant spinning the tale in answer to a claim of fraud, is the person who must show proof in support of their alibi. It is for the Prosecutor to punch holes in the alibi and reveal that the teller of the tale is nothing more than a confidence trickster trying to cover-up some other activity. In this instance, what is being concealed and what we are now revealing, are the many documented and authentic details of how and why Radio Caroline was created as a temporary testing point on behalf of industrial interests. It was not created as a 'top of the pops' radio station!
